For this route, we will start and finish at the Municipal Sports Centre. The route begins with a gentle descent, then climbs again approximately halfway through before returning to Osuna.
We leave the Municipal Sports Centre and take the Camino del Ejido. At the bend, we turn left onto the SE-712 road (Lantejuela Road), crossed it and skirted around the allotments to continue along the path leading to the Écija road. We saw several paths on the left, but we had to take the last one before reaching the road, turning left. Go down the fruit growers' path until you reach the ‘Vereda de las Ánimas’, turn left onto it and cross the ‘Arroyo del Salado’. Keep to the right and then turn left onto the ‘Vereda de los Mártires’ and continue along it until you reach the ‘Cortijo de Casablanca’. Once here, turn left and cross the ‘SE-712’ road (Lantejuela Road), continuing straight ahead. Just before crossing the Arroyo del Peinado, we turn right to go parallel to the stream until we reach a crossroads where we turn left to cross a bridge and enter the Vereda de Ojén, arriving at the Cortijo de los Veneros.
We continue crossing the SE-716 road and arrive at Cortijo de Ojén. We turn left onto Vereda de Lucena and continue along the path until we finally reach a junction where we turn left onto Vereda Real del Alamillo. We continue through Cortijo del Taraje, after which we will find a fork in the road. We keep to the left until we reach Cortijo del Alamillo. We walk a few metres along the asphalt road and, just before the next bend, we turn left back onto Vereda Real del Alamillo. We are now close to the SE-712 road (Lantejuela Road) and the ‘Cortijo de Casablanca’. There is also the option of shortening the route by not completing the entire loop that we are now finishing. Turn right to enter the ‘Vereda de Rabadanes’ and shortly afterwards turn right again onto the ‘Vereda del Alcaparral’.
On this path, we keep to the left and, after crossing a bridge, we reach the SE-716 road (Carretera de los Ojuelos). Here, we could continue through Los Arenosos to the A-92 service road, but we suggest returning along the asphalt road to Osuna.
