For this route, we will start and finish at the Osuna Municipal Sports Centre. It is a route with constant ups and downs. We start the route at the sports centre and head towards the Las Vegas Industrial Estate, taking the SE-715 road (Lantejuela-Ojuelos road), which in this case coincides with the Vereda Real de Marchena. We continue along the road and cross over the railway line using the existing bridge. Shortly afterwards, we come to the Arroyo del Peinado stream, which we must cross and continue along the road. After passing under two more bridges, we turn left to enter the Vereda del Alcaparral.
Once on this path, we must cross the Arroyo del Alamillo stream to reach Cortijo Los Arenosos. where we will see a fork in the path. We keep to the left to continue along the Vereda del Maestre until we reach another crossroads, where we follow the Vereda del Urraco until we reach the A-92 motorway. To cross the motorway, turn right onto the service lane and then left onto the bridge that crosses over the motorway. Once you have crossed, take the service lane and continue along the Vereda del Urraco, taking the first path on your right from the service lane.
Passing through olive groves, we arrive at the ruins of Cortijo del Urraco, where we begin our ascent, joining the Camino del Cuervo, which takes us to the Vereda de la Puebla a Cañete. We continue until we reach Cortijo de Mesada, which is the highest point of the route.
We leave Cortijo de Mesada and, as soon as we can, we turn onto the first path we see on the left to continue along Vereda de la Calderona. We continue crossing Arroyo del Agujetero with some caution, as the area tends to flood during the rainy season. Continuing on, we come to the Arroyo del Peinado stream again, which we cross once more, and shortly afterwards we also cross the Arroyo del Saltillo stream. To finish the route, we continue straight along the path and arrive back in Osuna.
There are multiple variants. You can return via the Puerto road without taking the Vereda de la Calderona, which is advisable when it has rained recently. You can also shorten the route by returning from Urraco to Osuna via the Camino de Urraco or by starting the route along this same path.
