Route of Victory

This route begins and ends at the Service Area. We will make a significant climb up to Cantalejos and then descend through the vineyard area.

We leave the Service Area and head towards the ‘Vereda de Ípora’ path, first passing under the ‘A-92’ motorway. We cross carefully at a level crossing and shortly afterwards we also pass under the railway line. About 800 metres further on, we turn right at the crossroads to access the ‘Vereda de San Lucas’ path. We passed the Cortijo de San Lucas and arrived at the Cortijo del Rosso. Once there, we continued parallel to the A-378 road (Martín de la Jara Road) towards Martín de la Jara on the left-hand side. Shortly after leaving the road, we turn right to cross the Arroyo del Salado stream and then turn right again to reach the road.

Cross the road to take the ‘Vereda del Calvario’ path, continue straight ahead crossing the ‘Arroyo de las Palomas’ stream and then the ‘Arroyo de las Viñas’ stream. We will come to a crossroads, where we turn left onto the Cañada Real de Écija a Teba. We continue along this path for approximately 1.5 km and then turn right onto the Camino del Barranco or Camino de la Victoria. We pass close to the Cortijo de la Victoria and continue along this path.

We will climb for approximately 3.5 km until we reach the repeater antennas, where we will turn left to pass by the Cortijo de Cantalejos Alto farmhouse and join the wind farm road. Shortly afterwards, we will turn off onto a parallel road to the right of the track, where we will have magnificent panoramic views of Osuna.

Immediately, we will find a path on the right that leads us down a steep slope through vineyards and country houses. We continue along the Camino de Cantalejos, crossing the Vereda de Cachimonte, and keep descending without deviating from the path. We pass over the railway line again and finally arrive in Osuna.
