For the route described below, we have marked the Service Area as the starting and ending point. This route may present certain difficulties, mainly due to the terrain we will be travelling through.
We leave from the Service Area, pass under the A-92 bridge and head towards Camino de Ípora. We cross the level crossing without barriers with caution and continue on to pass under the railway line. When we reach the next crossroads, we turn right onto Vereda de San Lucas. We pass the Cortijo de San Lucas and the Cortijo de El Rosso, continuing parallel to the road along this path, crossing the Arroyo del Salado. When we reach the Vereda del Calvario, we turn left to approach the slopes of the old Monasterio del Calvario. We continue parallel to the road on the left-hand side. After passing the ‘Casilla del Peón Caminero,’ we arrive at the junction with the ‘SE-485’ road (Aguadulce Road), which we follow for approximately 500 metres. We turn right through the olive trees and have to follow the track very carefully. After a descent through the olive grove and along a faint track, we find the path in a small ravine that leads us into the bed of the Arroyo del Salinoso stream. Cross it to find the path that leads to Cortijo de Aparicio. When you reach this farmhouse, turn right onto a well-maintained track that leads to the A-378 (Martín de la Jara road). We cross it and head first to the Cortijo del Cortijuelo and then to the Cortijo de Navaterrines. When we reach Navaterrines, we turn right to take the Cañada Real de Écija a Teba.
The route continues to the left along the Camino de los Corrales, but we can continue straight ahead and return to Osuna, shortening the route and avoiding the climbs that await us. Following this route, we would reach the Cortijo de Juana Hidalgo or Cortijo de Bejarano. where we leave the track and turn right. After passing the farmhouse, there are two options. We continue to the left, and after a stretch across the plain, we reach some olive trees. pay attention at this point, we turn right onto a faint track in the olive grove until we find the path through the scrubland that first climbs to the ‘Cortijo Cantalejos Bajo’. We keep to the right and continue without turning off until we reach the wind farm track, which we enter by turning left. We continue along it, leaving the repeater antennas and the ‘Cortijo de Cantalejos Alto’ on your left. Turn right onto a path parallel to the track, where you will have beautiful panoramic views of Osuna. You will find a path on the right where you can see a ruined house, and soon you will make a steep descent, crossing vineyards. After crossing the paved road, continue until you reach Osuna again.
