The trailhead is located in the municipality of El Puerto de la Encina on Calle del Pozo. Leave your vehicle in the village and look for this street. The journey is short, as the district is small.
El inicio del sendero se encuentra en el municipio de El Puerto de la Encina, en la calle del Pozo. Deje su vehículo en el pueblo y busque esta calle. El trayecto es corto, ya que el término municipal es pequeño.
We climb among olive trees until we reach the Pilar Abrevadero del Cortijo de Rejano, about 600 metres uphill; this is a good place to stop and refresh ourselves. We continue climbing and 400 m further on we reach Cortijo de Rejano, which we leave on our left. We continue on our way and further on we come to a junction with the path that comes from El Puerto de la Encina and leads to the Corbones River reservoir dam. We continue towards the village and a few metres further on, on the right, we find a path which, if we take it, will take us down to the tail of the reservoir after a little over 2.5 km. We continue towards the village, which will be the end point of our route.
