Le grand retable est baroque, duquel if faut souligner, dans la niche principal, la sculpture de la Vierge\u00a0<em>de la Merced<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 travers l\u2019\u00e9glise, on acc\u00e8de \u00e0 la cour int\u00e9rieure. Elle est entour\u00e9e par une plinthe d\u2019azulejos s\u00e9villans du XVIII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle, repr\u00e9sentant quelques\u00a0 sc\u00e8nes bibliques, les 5 sens, les 4 saisons de l\u2019ann\u00e9e et des moniales priant en ch\u0153ur. On peut voir aussi des sc\u00e8nes de v\u00e9nerie et de tauromachie.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du clo\u00eetre est devenu mus\u00e9e, dispos\u00e9 autour le clo\u00eetre principal. Le mus\u00e9e est compos\u00e9 de 4 salles de lesquelles il faut souligner une importante collection d\u2019images de l\u2019Enfant J\u00e9sus, des pi\u00e8ces d\u2019orf\u00e8vrerie et Ordre des Conceptionnistes Franciscaines. \u00c0 visiter seulement l\u2019\u00c9glise. Entr\u00e9e gratuite.<\/p>\n<p>Fond\u00e9 par la Bienheureuse Beatriz Silva pour les conceptionnistes franciscaines.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019horizontalit\u00e9 de sa fa\u00e7ade, presque mur\u00e9e d\u2019une extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019autre, se voit interrompu par un campanile construit en briques de deux modules et dont les cloches sont les plus sonores de la ville.<\/p>\n<p>Sa structure correspond au mod\u00e8le des couvents, avec une seule nef, qui est l\u2019une des plus hautes d\u2019Osuna, couverte par une vo\u00fbte en berceau. La grande chapelle pr\u00e9sente un plafond \u00e0 caissons d\u00e9cor\u00e9 de motifs d\u2019entrelacs.<\/p>\n<p>Le grand retable est engag\u00e9 en 1717 avec Francisco Mar\u00eda de Ceiba. Organis\u00e9 par des colonnes diminu\u00e9es, il pr\u00e9sente des sculptures, de la m\u00eame \u00e9poque, repr\u00e9sentant \u00e0 Saint Joseph, Saint Miguel, Saint Fran\u00e7ois et Sainte B\u00e9atrice de Silva ; cette derni\u00e8re, moderne. Actuel couvent des P\u00e8res Carm\u00e9lites. Entr\u00e9e gratuite.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 1606, le couvent, donn\u00e9 par M. Juan T\u00e9llez Gir\u00f3n, est occup\u00e9 par l\u2019Ordre Carm\u00e9lite. La construction de cette \u00e9glise aurait pu commencer au d\u00e9but du XVI<sup>e\u00a0<\/sup>si\u00e8cle, car on peut trouver des \u00e9l\u00e9ments gothiques et de la Renaissance. Ensuite, au XVIII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle, les nefs et la porte sont restaur\u00e9s. \u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du temple, on trouve trois nefs sur piliers et couvertes par des vo\u00fbtes en berceau.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le presbyterium, on trouve l\u2019un des retables les plus importants de la Renaissance s\u00e9villane. Remontant \u00e0 environ 1588-1590, il est compos\u00e9 par trois modules. Les travaux d\u2019architecture et de sculptures sont attribu\u00e9s \u00e0\u00a0<em>Juan de Oviedo el Viejo<\/em>\u00a0et\u00a0<em>Diego de Velasco<\/em>, desquels il faut souligner le relief du\u00a0<em>Noli me tangere<\/em>. La niche est ajout\u00e9e plus tard.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le ch\u0153ur de l\u2019\u00e9glise on conserve des stalles proc\u00e9dant du couvent des carm\u00e9lites chauss\u00e9es d\u2019\u00c9cija, datant de la fin du XVII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle. Les S\u0153urs de la Croix sont en charge de son culte. Entr\u00e9e gratuite.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On connait l\u2019existence du couvent de l\u2019<em>Esp\u00edritu Santo<\/em>\u00a0depuis le milieu du XVI<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle. Habit\u00e9 par la congr\u00e9gation des chanoines, ils se sont charg\u00e9s de la maintenance de la\u00a0<em>Casa de Exp\u00f3sitos<\/em>\u00a0jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa s\u00e9cularisation au XIX<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0si\u00e8cle. Actuellement occup\u00e9 par les religieuses Carm\u00e9lites D\u00e9chauss\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9glise de San Pedro a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par M. Pedro T\u00e9llez Gir\u00f3n comme lieu d\u2019enterrement pour ses domestiques, selon la tradition. Avec la mort du IV<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0comte d\u2019Ure\u00f1a, cette \u00e9glise serait occup\u00e9e par les religieuses Carm\u00e9lites D\u00e9chauss\u00e9es jusqu\u2019\u00e0 aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n<p>Les moniales Carm\u00e9lites \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 Osuna avant la fondation de ce couvent\u00a0; elles occupaient un couvent qui \u00e9tait pr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00c9glise de\u00a0<em>San Juan de Dios<\/em>, sous le patronage de\u00a0<em>Santa Isabel<\/em>, fond\u00e9 par\u00a0<em>Isabel M\u00e9ndez de Sotomayor<\/em>. En 1564, on d\u00e9cide de d\u00e9placer le couvent et quitter la zone intramuros, \u00e0 cause de l\u2019incommodit\u00e9 de l\u2019emplacement. Depuis 1575, elles sont dans le nouveau monast\u00e8re, dans la\u00a0<em>Plaza de San Pedro<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Il est int\u00e9ressant de savoir qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re fondation du I<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0Duc d\u2019Osuna (fil de M. Juan T\u00e9llez Gir\u00f3n)\u00a0; fondation r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avec sa m\u00e8re Mme.
